Knockhill - I have decided to withdraw our entry from the Knockhill rounds. It was a difficult decision because we obviously want to compete in all of the races, however due to the lack of available testing there I beleive that our time and money would be better spent on more testing locally to give us a much stronger campaign at Snetterton in July.

Billy White - Our Race Academy driver Billy White put in another strong performance this weekend at Colchester. Despite being hit and blocked continually he managed to qualify sixth overall for the final and maintained his position during the race. Well done from all of the team.

Rockingham - It was great to arrive at Rockingham fielding both of our cars! Testing on Friday went well Mark is simply getting faster and more confident at every outing, Marcus despite not having raced for 18 months got on with the job and gave the car a good shake down and maintained a close pace all day. Qualifying was unbelievable with less than a second seperating the top 15 cars so we couldn't really be dissapointed with our grid positions for race 1. We ended the weekend with a minor problem on the gear linkage in the new car which we rectified for race 3 but still managed 5 finnishes from six race starts. Unfortunately for Mark another slightly over zelous young driver got carried away into turn two on the first lap and ended this outing putting our car deep into the gravel.

Marcus Weller - Formula BMW Scholarship winner and Formula Ford ace Marcus Weller will be back in a race seat for the first time in nearly 18 months at Rockingham at the end of May. Marcus had this to say “I’m ecstatic to be back in the car after such a long wait, Inter Motorsport have done an amazing job to put the deal together and worked round the clock to make it happen. It has been a long time since I have driven a proper race car but I have confidence in my talents behind the wheel and also know that the car the team give me will be very quick so I look forward to it. We are delighted to have Marcus on board and have every confidence in him.

Race Academy - Billy White age 11 from Colchester has been awarded the first scholarship into the Intermotorsport Race Academy funded by the Intermotorsport Business Club. Billy has been a keen karter racing in various Indicart Championships since he was 8 years old with quite a few podium places. We are delighted to have him onboard and look forward seeing him progress in the coming year.

Oulton Park -The opening three rounds at Oulton Park started the 2009 season off with some excellent racing. Mark had a fantastic start in the first race taking four places by the first corner and showed true grit thoughout the race. He might not have been the first accross the line but to be 2.8 seconds off the race leader, in what is really his first ever proper race I thought was very encouraging. After the three rounds he has finnished up 5th in class and 19 place overall in the championship. I feel sure that with more testing before the next round we will see a dramatic improvement in qualifying.

New Driver -North Yorkshire based Mark Harper is the latest driver to join the Intermotorsport team. Although he has never really raced before, his initial testing went well and we feel stronly that he has the talent to prove himself as the season unfolds.
